Ann helps people understand the role they play within an organisation or within society in ensuring that their environment meets the needs of everyone and does not discriminate against others whether directly or indirectly.

Often when I go into an organisation and question who is responsible for equality and diversity within their organisation, people often provide a name of either the HR Manager, Equality and Diversity officer, Chief Exec or Health and Safety manager, forgetting that they too have a responsibility to deliver an equitable service and to respect those that they work alongside.

HUSK’s equality training challenges these thoughts, looks at legislation and helps staff to set priorities for change in their role.
